Exploratory study involving 33 nurses across 11 health units in southeast São Paulo.

To identify and analyze nurses' perceptions regarding diseases managed by acupuncture.
To explore nurses' personal experiences and suggested applications of acupuncture.
To understand the scope of conditions nurses believe acupuncture can address.

Summary:

Nurses reported using acupuncture for stress (10.7%), anxiety, migraines, lumbar pain, myoma, and obesity (7.1% each).
The majority of suggestions for acupuncture treatment focused on musculoskeletal diseases (42%).
