Initial experience with endobronchial ultrasound in an academic thoracic surgery program

Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is a safe and accurate method for evaluating mediastinal lymph nodes. This minimally invasive technique has a short learning curve for thoracic surgeons, improving diagnostic yield quickly.
