Abstract:
To prepare for value-based healthcare reform and payment reform, healthcare finance leaders should: evaluate their organizations' competencies related to integration, risk management, and pricing; understand value-based payment models currently under study; enhance transparency of quality of care and pricing; become actively involved in efforts to measure and publish their organizations' quality data; establish contracting priorities and initiatives based on stakeholder input.
