Ileocolonic involvement in Behçet's disease: endoscopic and histological evaluation

Gastrointestinal involvement, particularly in the ileum, is common in Behçet's disease (BD), even without visible endoscopic lesions. Microscopic analysis reveals frequent inflammation in the lower GI tract of BD patients.
