Nursing education can be enhanced through a dynamic co-learning model. This approach uses caring, comedy, creativity, and challenging (the four Cs) to foster transformative learning and move students from knowledge acquisition to practical application.

Traditional nursing classrooms can stifle student and teacher engagement.
A need exists for more dynamic and effective teaching methods in nursing education.

Purpose of the Study:

To present an exemplar of transformative learning in nursing education.
To introduce an innovative teaching approach utilizing the four Cs: caring, comedy, creativity, and challenging.

Main Methods:

Implementation of a co-learning model in a nursing education setting.
Integration of the four Cs (caring, comedy, creativity, challenging) into the teaching methodology.

Main Results:

The innovative teaching method facilitated a shift from knowledge acquisition to practical application.
Opportunities for authentic co-learning were created within the nursing education environment.

Conclusions:

The four Cs model offers a transformative approach to nursing education.
Dynamic co-learning experiences enhance student engagement and practical skill development in nursing.
