Hybrid composites made from recycled materials: moisture absorption and thickness swelling behavior

Recycled newspaper fiber (RNF) and poplar wood flour (PWF) composites showed increased water absorption with higher RNF content. Maleated polypropylene (MAPP) improved adhesion, reducing water absorption and thickness swelling in recycled polypropylene (RPP) composites.
