Summary

Anatomic Endodontic Technology (AET) did not outperform rotary nickel-titanium or hand instruments in cleaning oval-shaped root canals. Rotary instruments showed a slight advantage in reducing apical debris.

    • Anatomic Endodontic Technology (AET) does not offer superior performance over rotary nickel-titanium or hand instruments for preparing oval-shaped root canals.
    • Rotary NiTi instruments may offer a benefit in debris removal in the apical region.
