Neoadjuvant immunotherapy enhances radiosensitivity through natural killer cell activation

Natural killer (NK) cells enhance radiotherapy efficacy. Combining CpG and Herceptin immunotherapy with radiation, especially before treatment, improved tumor control and induced anti-tumor immunity in mice.
