BROUSSARD is a certified nurse-midwife, women's health nurse practitioner, and an instructor in the BSN program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette College of Nursing & Allied Health Professions. She currently participates with her maternity-nursing students in the Resource Center for Young Parents-To-Be.
