Abstract:
A case of posterior fossa dural arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is reported. In the surgical specimen the internal elastic lamina of the dura mater around the sinus was defective in places where nests of dural vascular anomalies protruded into the sinus lumen, suggesting that the AVM was congenital in origin.
