Molecular Beam Mass Spectrometry With Tunable Vacuum Ultraviolet (VUV) Synchrotron Radiation
Published on: October 30, 2012
Abstract:
A review of the historical development of multiphoton processes with emphasis on high degrees of excitation is given. The present understanding of the mechanisms involved will be discussed along with some special effects due to multiphoton transitions. Finally, an account of more recent work concerning autoionizing resonances and their behavior under the influence of strong fields will be given.
