A courageous voice for nursing

Though she has never held an elected office in any major nursing organization, Eleanor Lambertsen has served as nursing's representative on hospital boards, and to the AHA and the AMA. And as one of the chief architects of team nursing, she has always fought to make improving patient care the paramount objective of any health care institution.
