Oral Transmission of Listeria monocytogenes in Mice via Ingestion of Contaminated Food

A man with acute myeloid leukaemia developed Listeria meningitis after eating imported paté. Listeria monocytogenes was found in local paté, highlighting risks for immunocompromised individuals.
