Abstract:
Four cases with fasciocutaneous island flaps from the dorsal forearm, pedicled on the posterior interosseous artery with retrograde vascular flow are reported on. A modification of the original operative technique with the vascular pedicle containing one or two subcutaneous veins is described. The risk of venous stasis is thereby markedly reduced.
