Nitric oxide gamma band airglow radiometer with a self-absorbing gas cell
Abstract:
A radiometer which makes use of a self-absorbing gas cell was developed for rocket measurement of the NO gamma band airglow. The error due to the incompleteness of the self-absorption was analyzed theoretically and found to be unimportant compared with other experimental errors.
