Summary
New immunoassays detect anti-PM/Scl-100 and anti-RNA Pol-III antibodies in systemic sclerosis (SSc). High levels of anti-PM/Scl-100 and anti-RNA Pol-III antibodies are associated with SSc, though infrequently, and may indicate interstitial lung disease.
