Abstract:
Is the risk of major bleeding the only reason to be concerned about oral anticoagulant therapy in chronic kidney disease patients? We consider another potential adverse effect of long-term Coumadin use in chronic kidney disease patients as comparably devastating: the threat of inducing creeping vascular calcification.
