Age-associated epigenetic modifications in human DNA increase its immunogenicity

Aging DNA becomes more immunogenic due to epigenetic changes, particularly hypomethylation. This heightened reactivity in dendritic cells may drive age-related inflammation, autoimmunity, and cancer.
