Summary

Short-interval (six months) and regular-interval (one year) follow-up for Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) category 3 imaging studies show similar effectiveness. Both approaches yielded comparable rates of image-detected breast cancer and cancer stage at detection.
