Summary

A new assay quantifies live articular chondrocytes using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-dypenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) dye. This method accurately measures chondrocyte attachment to surfaces in microwell plates.
