This study introduces Methylation specific quantum dot fluorescence resonance energy transfer (MS-qFRET), a sensitive nanotechnology assay for detecting DNA methylation changes. The assay was validated and used to analyze p15(INK4B) methylation in acute myeloid leukemia patient samples.
