Capsule contraction syndrome with haptic deformation and flexion

Capsule contraction syndrome can cause intraocular lens (IOL) haptics to fully flex onto the optic's anterior surface. This previously unreported complication highlights the need to evaluate IOL design and materials, especially with injectable lenses.
