Abstract:
The evidence-based guidelines for the management of pancreatic cancer published in 2006 was revised in 2009. Results of a questionnaire survey on the 2006 version are presented here with AGREE evaluation by five committee member reviewers. These guidelines are aimed to standardize the diagnostic and therapeutic algorithms for general practitioners and hospitals. Specialized institutions are to solve unanswered questions and problems by conducting appropriate clinical studies. Whether the addition of proposals for the future from the working team members is adequate or not remains to be determined; nonetheless, many of our readers found some proposals interesting and useful indicators of future perspectives and problems to be solved.
