Introduction:
The paper focuses on the use of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) in the evaluation of one case of Chiari III malformation.
Case Report:
In the case discussed, DTI was used to delineate the position of large descending tracts within the malformation and the reconstructed images were used to plan the surgical procedure.
Discussion:
The clinical and imaging findings, the technical aspects of the DTI fiber tract reconstruction and the outcome are summarized.
