Predictive factors for overactive bladder symptoms after pelvic organ prolapse surgery

The best way to predict if overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms will be absent after pelvic organ prolapse (POP) surgery is if bothersome OAB symptoms were not present before the procedure.

- While POP surgery can improve OAB symptoms for some, a small percentage may develop new-onset symptoms.
