    • These selected herbs also demonstrated significant antioxidant activities (FRAP >1.2 mM, TEAC >2.4 mM), with strong correlations between assays and polyphenol levels.

    Conclusions:

    • The study identified several Malaysian herbs with substantial antioxidant potential.
    • Polyphenolic compounds are the primary drivers of the observed antioxidant activities in these herbs.
    • Findings support the use of these herbs as natural sources of antioxidants.
