Summary

Transvaginal cholecystectomy (TV-ChE) offers a scarless, less invasive surgical option. This study found TV-ChE resulted in less pain, lower analgesic use, and shorter hospital stays compared to traditional laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LAP-ChE).

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the safety and efficacy of transvaginal cholecystectomy (TV-ChE) compared to laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LAP-ChE).
