CCK-4: Psychophysiological conditioning elicits features of spontaneous panic attacks

Cholecystokinin-tetrapeptide (CCK-4) reliably induces panic anxiety and stress responses. This study shows CCK-4 also activates fear-related facial muscles, offering an objective measure for panic anxiety and conditioning effects.
