Acral lesions in tuberous sclerosis complex: insights into pathogenesis

Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) patients frequently develop ungual fibromas and other acral lesions. Comprehensive skin examinations for TSC should include nail grooves, "red comets," and leukonychia.
