Optochiasmatic cavernous hemangiomas (OCHs) treated with radiotherapy may require surgery due to incomplete healing. Complete surgical resection is recommended as the primary treatment to prevent complications like hemorrhage and neuronal damage.

  • Complete surgical resection is associated with better outcomes.

  • Complete surgical resection should be considered the primary treatment of choice for OCH.
  • Further research into optimal management strategies for OCH is warranted.
  • Understanding the long-term efficacy and risks of different OCH treatments is crucial.
