Time to achieve remission determines time to be in remission

Achieving early remission in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is linked to sustained remission. This study in early RA patients found that a shorter time to remission predicts long-term remission success.

Conclusions:
- A shorter time to remission is significantly associated with the sustainability of remission in rheumatoid arthritis.
- These findings support the clinical strategy of aiming for early remission in RA patients.
