The author describes the development and production of a new endoprosthesis, Rubena CMC, which is used by the author to deal with advanced stages of rhizarthritis. He mentions in detail the surgical and postoperative procedure. In the discussion he explains in detail problems associated with size and shape of the product and advocates special stages of the surgical procedure.
