Cross-arm replantation for traumatic bilateral upper extremity amputations: a case report

This study presents a successful cross-extremity hand replantation using a novel nerve repair technique. Favorable functional recovery was achieved in a patient with severe bilateral limb injuries.

- Cross-extremity replantation is a viable option for specific cases of bilateral amputations.
- This technique offers hope for limb salvage when standard replantation is impossible.
