Summary
This study reports the first known cases of co-occurring Becker

Background:
- Becker's nevus (BN) is a common congenital melanocytic nevus.
- Malignant melanoma (MM) is a serious form of skin cancer.
- The association between BN and MM requires further investigation.
Observation:
- Nine patients presented with both Becker's nevus and malignant melanoma.
- In five patients, the melanoma occurred at the same body site as the Becker's nevus.
- Seven melanomas were superficial-spreading type; one was located within a Becker's nevus.
Findings:
- The co-occurrence of Becker's nevus and malignant melanoma is reported for the first time.
- Eight of the nine patients were male.
- Two patients had a diagnosis of dysplastic nevus syndrome, and two had a familial history of melanoma.
Implications:
- This association may suggest a potential link or predisposition.
- Further research is warranted to understand the relationship between BN and MM.
- Clinical vigilance for melanoma in patients with Becker's nevus is recommended.
