Formulation and optimization of sustained release tablets of venlafaxine resinates using response surface methodology

This study optimized venlafaxine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets using ion exchange resin and polymer combinations. The developed once-a-day oral drug delivery system ensures regulated and complete drug release for 20 hours.
