The process of writing for publication begins with an idea that is focused on and slanted toward a particular audience. Nurse authors must then create space in their fast-paced day for writing in an environment that supports their concentration and creativity. Several strategies can be used, including reading well-written manuscripts, to assist nurses in writing quality manuscripts that are likely to be published.
