John McKelway: a man of true vision

A rare man, John McKelway, MD, is the founding father of the Hunterdon and Mercer County Medical Societies. Dr. McKelway (1788-1877) was a progressive physician and businessman. He is remembered for being a rigid observer of medical ethics.
