Long-term non-invasive ventilation to manage persistent ventilatory failure after COPD exacerbation

Long-term non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV) improved ventilation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbation. This treatment was well-tolerated and showed promising results for patients with persistent hypercapnia.
