Summary

Pancreas transplantation is an effective therapy for diabetes mellitus, with 64% of 100 performed pancreas transplants functioning long-term. This study reports on pancreas transplant outcomes, including simultaneous pancreas kidney transplantation and pancreas transplantation alone.
