Summary

Sexual orientation does not significantly impact ejaculatory function, including premature or delayed ejaculation. This study found no differences between sexual orientations when controlling for sexual activity patterns.

Background:

Ejaculatory dysfunction definitions, like premature ejaculation, primarily focus on intravaginal ejaculation latency time.
Current definitions may not adequately address the experiences of gay and bisexual men.
The impact of sexual orientation on ejaculatory function remains under-researched.

Purpose of the Study:

To investigate the effects of sexual orientation on premature and delayed ejaculation.
To assess the applicability of existing ejaculatory dysfunction definitions across different sexual orientations.

Main Methods:

Comparative analysis of ejaculatory function across different sexual orientations.
Statistical control for variations in sexual activity frequencies and patterns.

Main Results:

No significant differences in ejaculatory dysfunction were found between sexual orientations.
Sexual orientation did not emerge as a significant factor influencing premature or delayed ejaculation when controlling for sexual behavior.
