[The correction of lipid peroxidation disorders in peptic ulcer patients]

The state of lipid peroxidation (LP), antioxidant blood activity (ABA) and spontaneous chemiluminescence (SC) of the gastric mucosa was studied in 37 patients with ulcer disease. It was found that LP and ABA remained practically unchanged. At the site of the ulcerative defect and around it SC was 2-4 times higher than in the intact zone. Use of a 20% dibunol solution was rather effective in the correction of LP disorders.
