Abstract:
In this paper we discuss the diagnostic value of ultrasound and fine needle biopsy in cases of primary and secondary hyperparathyroidism. The broad availability of ultrasound and increased number of thyroid-sonographies leads to earlier detection of parathyroid nodules.
