Summary

Two unusual cystic parathyroid adenomas were identified. These large, cystic tumors showed faint enhancement and different imaging patterns compared to typical solid parathyroid adenomas.

  • Unlike typical solid adenomas with rapid arterial enhancement and washout, these cystic adenomas showed less arterial enhancement.
  • Cystic parathyroid adenomas demonstrated minimal washout on venous and delayed-phase imaging.

Implications:

  • Recognizing these atypical features is crucial for accurate diagnosis.
