Does the StarD6 mark the same as the StAR in the nervous system?

StarD6 and steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR) show distinct characteristics in the nervous system. These cholesterol transport proteins exhibit different cellular localization and regulation, indicating unique roles in glial and neuronal cells.
