Abstract:
Thanks to modern medical development, today's elderly live better quality lives than did those of a century ago. In recent years, however, scientists have discovered that many factors can cause prescription drugs to interact differently with elderly individuals as compared to the general population. Some of what we attribute to just "growing old" may be drug-related or drug induced side effects.
