[Experiences in emergency bedside and ambulatory ultrasonography]

A retrospective study of 147 emergency sonographic examinations performed at our department between March 1989 and February 1990 showed a good agreement with operation results, autopsies respectively punctures. Several cases were discussed. The obtained relevance of therapy of about 75% emphasizes the demand that sonography must be the method of first choice in emergency diagnostic.
