Abstract:
The proposed HPLC method allows the quantification of plasma and intra-erythrocyte metformin after simple acid deproteinisation of blood samples and injection on a cation exchange column. Its speed and sensitivity are perfectly adapted to the needs of an invasive monitoring of diabetic patients treated with this hypoglycaemic.
