Summary

Obese individuals have higher basal tissue factor (TF) procoagulant activity (PCA) in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), linked to inflammation markers like C-reactive protein. Obesity-related proteins leptin, resistin, and SAA do not significantly increase PBMC TF-PCA.
