  • The tumor consisted of diffuse sheets of lipidized cells with xanthomatous cytoplasm (60% of mass).
  • Immunohistochemistry showed glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) positivity.

Findings:

  • Lipidized glioblastoma is an extremely rare differentiation pattern.
  • Ultrastructural analysis confirmed significant lipid accumulation within tumor cells.
