Background:

  • Neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus (NPSLE) is a severe complication of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate white matter integrity in patients with NPSLE using Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI).
  • To compare white matter abnormalities between NPSLE patients, SLE patients without neuropsychiatric involvement, and healthy controls.
  • To identify specific brain regions affected by white matter changes in NPSLE.
